I've been trying to do a Christmas Special for Inkwell's Cartoon Revues. But I'm finding it increasingly difficult to do. I live in a house with four people. A family of four, with some grade school kids. On top of that, I work nights, so the only time I can film is on my days off because the house is a ruckus any other time. Unfortunately, they also have a habit of sleeping out in the living rooms where I film. My room is too cramped, most of it taken up by a lost bed and desk, so my little bookshelf is really the only viable spot. Not unless I'm standing up in a corner of my room with a sheet behind me.
I've been working on this on and off for two weeks, and I just haven't had a chance to film. The kids woke me up one day so I was too tired to film, and the last two days off there was a guest here, and once again two people passed out a mere 5 feet from where I'd be filming.
I just don't know when I'm going to be able to finish it. It's becoming rather distressing, truth be told. I'll be moving in a few months anyway, so hopefully I'll be moving to a place with a reliable light source (Seriously, there's one broken lamp in the living room, and only one wall lamp in the den where I film. Who built this house, teh Crypt Keeper?) and a wide enough space to film against.
For those of you who ARE watching and waiting for the next episode, I'm sorry. Be patient with me, because this house is just not set up for a creative type like myself.
